speaking of hatches, does anybody know a way to recondition the rubber rear spoiler? because that would be awesome!!

Mine was gray from sitting in the sun and baking for years before I got it. I started putting black magic on it every couple of days for a week or so. Now it's looking just fine - I put more on every few months at the most (but the car is now garaged, which may have something to do with it).

FWIW, if you AX or have plans to AX with the PCA, be careful on replacing the rear spoiler. While any spoiler is allowed in the production classes, the leading edge of the spoiler must be attached to the car and it must have no more than 5" in height from the leading edge.

There's only so much you can do. If the surface has pitted/worn through, then you're better off replacing it. If it is still in pretty good condition, then you can condition it. I use Zaino Z-16 Tire Perfect, which has a UV block in it and doesn't turn brown after being exposed to sun/rain.
