Exclamation Said Goodbye to my '86 944 to a soon-to-be Rennlister

Well that's it. After 4 years and blood, sweat and tears into rebuilding that engine, she's gone. The new owner is a car buff that's going to use it as a daily driver and per the previous owner's request (me), will be a Rennlister!

I hope you guys welcome him with your knowledge, just as you did to me back on 2001. As for me? I'll be around here, answering any tech questions, despite being a 928 owner. There will always be 944 blood in me.

And maybe, someday, my next car and track car will be a 951. Yes that's right, the all 928 guy will be tracking a 944 TURBO.

See you guys around.

Well, if you are looking for a straight, running/driving 951 car for track for $3500, let me know....

Ooh, almost missed this. A belated thanks for the welcome.

Car buff? Hardly. I know just enough to get myself in trouble. But with my car buff friends, and this list, I should hopefully be okay.

Just put a new thermostat in the water pump (see the "Evil Snap Ring Colouring Book" thread) due to some heat issues, but now she's running great and seems happy in her new home.

I will post some pictures soon if you all aren't heartily sick of looking at 944s.
