Sent you a PM, AZ.. I had a car lined up to buy (was also black/tan) but seller changed his mind. Has the pinion bearing been taken care of on the car?

Yikes! The previous owner on my first 951 put KYB's on, and boy were they soft. Koni Yellows are standard on the m030 cars right?

I replaced the rear konis with the helper spring as all the spring was helping was us bounce down the road over any and all bridges (mental image = Cheech and Chong without the smoke...

Really effected a lot of other things as well including cornering stability. The KYBs are great and a little less $$. It's just about a 2 hour job if anyone wants to swap them (upper bolt is located inside the fender well and really eay to access but still need someone else to hold the open end on the nut side since there isn't enough space for a box wrench).

Kevin, I dig your boat man. Would come in hand at family pool parties...!

I buzzed some of the small landing crafts around Coronado bay last time we were on holiday. Amazing thing to see an Army guy run some Navy folks around (didn't go near the big one's though, you guys are really careful with those). Spend any time in the Gulf? I lived a lovely year in the noisy area of Baghdad (4 clicks S of Sadr).

Do you have any idea when the odo stopped? Sorry if you posted that already. I wonder if carfax would have the date of the last time it was less than where it is now, to give an idea of when it may have stopped. Did anyone pull up a carfax on this one?

Fly out and drive it home. 030 968's do not come around very often.

The KYBs are great, not soft at all, in fact stiffer than the stock shocks on my S2. Not into driving a skateboard anyhow, that kinda stiff causes way too many other problems with rattles, cracks etc...

sure seems like this car is a steal. Anyone with the bucks should be all over it...regardless of where you live. Not buying the 'gee I wish you lived ... ' stuff. My car was 1000 miles from where I live. Rented a car. Drove out. Picked up the car. Drove home. Did it over a weekend. This time of year is a great time for a road trip.
