Got backed into in a parking lot - I wasn't even in the car.

So anyone got a door, glass, handle, and fender in good shape?

Guess I'm finally going to get around to painting the whole car.

I have a driver's door you can have for free if you pay the shipping. It is gutted and needs some body work, but it is definately better then what you have there. It's also a similar color.

No - he came and found me. I know him. He felt really bad about it. All in all, no big deal. The door closes well still (obviously not with the outside handle though), so I don't think it's even tweaked. And, as someone else mentioned, at least there is no damage on the rear quarter.

All in all, this is an extra few hours of work for me, and a kick in the *** to finally paint the car.

Colin - thanks for the offer. I'll let you know. If I can find one that doesn't need any work I'll end up going that way since the guy who did the damage is paying for it anyway.

It's a failed clearcoat on a base/clear paint job that's 22 years old. Buffing is not the answer.

It was moderately depressing to get all that glass in the carpet.
