Default Hard to get into first

I have a 1988 944 turbo and just recently it is nearly impossible to get it into first gear. It takes a lot of force to push it into gear. The other gears are somewhat difficult but not near as hard as first. Maybe this is related, but my brake fluid light came on about 3 weeks ago, I filled it and the light went out. Also, it is hard to get into gear whether the car is running or not.

Thanks

Try bleeding your clutch hydraulic system at the slave cylinder. It sounds like you have air in the system and the clutch is not fully disengaging. With a low brake fluid situation like that it's easy to get air into the clutch plumbing, especially when parked nose down our taking a left hand corner really hard. Do a search for 'bleeding clutch' and you will have hours of info to read.
