or stick with the pinstripe idea, black wheels with an orange pinstripe plus a pinstripe down the side of the car and a thin orange line on the black hoop spoiler...

seriously though, I think your wheels might look sharp if you powdercoated them gold but left the rim polished.

or the flat orange doesn't look too bad either...its tough to go wrong when the rest of the car looks so good!

I think right now I have the only (street) 944 with orange wheels... I didn't do it on purpose, but I got a good deal on a set of 17's and figured the Orange was sort of interesting. It does get old sometimes, but sometimes I really like them (most of the time). If you choose to paint red, be careful, because sometimes the clash between the side marker orange and the wheel orange gets annoying. Also, the front turn signals are a thrid orange shade, so its not possible to get it completely right. I'm attaching a few pics, but I really don't have any good ones on this compter.
