Hey, my car's not crap-*** because it's an automatic ... it's crap-*** because it rattles, it leaks and desperately needs a paint job. The automatic tranny is just one more thing that hurts the resale value (though it don't hurt my love of the car none).

Well spotted! That is one of the reasons that I asked for the options sheet. The no rear decal option was 'M498 - WITHOUT VEHICLE TYPE LETTERING ON REAR END' This car does not have that option listed, so it could have been repaired/repainted at the rear.
