I like nascar too. A little less this season, but I still watch.

I'm sure it would be effective....but I'm going for pure looks. I just want something that looks good on the NA cars.

My wife is good with Photoshop. I'll have her add a splitter, and I'll post it.

Leadfoot944 did an N/A splitter. It looked great!

EDIT: It's the maroon car next to mine:

Thanks for the link Airflite

Yeah, I like that splitter. I like the look of my bumper out though...though I might remove the rubber guards.

I'll get some pics posted so everyone can see what I'm talkin about

that maroon nose looks very tasty. Everything combines to create architectural interest to steal a phrase. I'm mildly sad that I've got a turbo nose now. Every other guy's got one of those. That maroon job you don't see every day.

If you could produce a front splitter like leadfoots I would be in. I think it adds to the car without taking anything away in styling or purpose. Not keen on the 'stub nose' look though, but the splitter would look very cool on a euro front.

A high quality rear wing is available so no need to reinvent the wheel.

If you manage to produce a good quality prototype splitter like leadfoots for your car I think you would get a few takers for a group buy in the $75-$100 range.

I don't think you could reproduce that for $75-$100. The AIR splitter, which is less complex IMO, is a little over $200 IIRC.

There is a thread on Damien's build of the splitter I believe.

EDIT: FOund it, but the pics are dead

The 4-piece 968 spoiler is being made for $235.75, the splitter is much less complicated, shouldn't cost more than $75 a piece to make and retail for say $150 tops maybe.

The dead pictures are hosted on the rennlist server. The server seems to be having some problems at the moment, I hope that we haven't lost all those pictures hosted there!

I think I could make that.

I've been reading about making stuff from fiberglass/carbon fiber..... and that splitter desn't look to hard.

would be a nice first project..... I'll keep everyone posted.

Thanks for the input!

To make my splitter it cost me over $100. Resins and paint are not cheap.

Michelle, PM me your number I would love to do a cruise this summer...
