My brother is trying to sell an '86 944 located in Austin, TX. The car would be a great parts car, only it runs so great! I am jealous as I still haven't sorted out the idle on my 944S (been through idle stabilizer, O2 sensor, spark plugs, cap/rotor). Anyways, it is a white 944 with Koni sports all around and turbo springs in front. It has some cosmetic problems, mainly the cracked dashboard and a spider crack in the winshield). The car really does run great, had the head rebuilt 10k miles ago. Would make a great car to run at AutoXs or use for letting the new 16yr old drive around.
