Start by checking the fuses, then pulling the bulbs out and inspecting; it's possible both have burned out or something may be loose.

Anything else not working? (yeah, that's a silly question to ask about a 944 )

Did this just happen, or has it always been like this?

Bulb numbers. They're on the blister package you'd see hanging on the pegs in the store.

confusede me a bit at first because I got a GE bulb number, went to my local parts store, and they only carried Sylvania bulbs

I didn't list the fuses/relays because I believe relay parts numbers are listed on the relay itself, and the fuses are listed on the inside of the fuse cover.

When I bought my red car which was in mint condition according to the PO both tail lights and one brake light was dead.
On the brake light the globe was dead, for the taillights both fuses was blown. No idea why so it made my worry a bit but I replaced them and they did not blow again.
