Default Night Time....

Is not gonna work for my p-car For some reason i do not have the lights that are supposed to come on at night when your headlights are engaged. Does anyone know what the problem could be???

Is there a relay or is just a fuse????

Appreciate your help!!!

check bulbs and fuses first - they're more likely to fail than relays

but it could be any combination of the three

ok.

So you know at night when you are driving there are numerous lights located around the car that are lit up to show other cars where you are????

Well thats the problem the only lights that work at night are the regular lights and the brake lights.

Sure they're plugged in?
Sure they're not on?

You're talking about the side markers right?

Are the lights on the side? Or do you mean the brake lights when they are dim?
You said the brake lights work...

Wink

Aha so you're referring to those little square things that shine even when the car is dirty but only at night?

Tough luck thats one of those little things that can only be fixed with a special tool which was never sold to any one but the agents. You'll have to book it in to your local stealership for a week and remember to take the credit card with.

The technical term we're searching for is "tail lights"

Start by checking the fuses, then pulling the bulbs out and inspecting; it's possible both have burned out or something may be loose.

Anything else not working? (yeah, that's a silly question to ask about a 944 )

Did this just happen, or has it always been like this?

For reference:

Sylvania bulbs:
High & low beam headlamp
H6024
H6024ST Silverstar High Performance Lighting
H6024XV XtraVision Halogen Upgrade: 3x brighter; 2x the life

Also try cleaning the bulb sockets on the tail housing.
