come to think of it, did they even know the show was going on ? we walked out there and you couldn't hear the announcer at all so im guessing they didn't win any of the door prizes :-\

Wade and I said the same thing. Its like they were the forgotten stepchildren of the family and they knew it, but tried to take part in big brothers fun and games anyway. When they pulled out their lawn chairs and stuff though they all faced the P-Car contingent so they knew where the funk was going on.
I dont think I saw anyone under age 19 over there. A few of them actually had some fairly nice GTIs/Jettas, but shuckies, you just know they were saying, "Man, one day Im be over there with the cool people." <img border="0" alt="[byebye]" title="" src="graemlins/wave.gif" />
Almost everyone of them had a fart can too. It was like a scene out of Fast & Furious as they arrived in bunches and farted up and down the 944 line.
Best story of the day though was the old geezer talking to Wade looking to customize a 944 without taking away from the inherent beautiful lines on the car. One of his ideas was putting Testarossa vents on the side. Oh yeah, that would be subtle. Who would honestly notice.
I think this guy has a cousin with a 944 with an airbrushed tigerlady on the side. <img border="0" alt="[ouch]" title="" src="graemlins/c.gif" />
The reason our row didnt win any awards is because we were on the far end and got less foot traffic. At least thats how my lawyer is going to present the case.

That's OK. I'm still totally confused as to how my sorry-***, faded 18-year-old red paint didn't get in the way of me winning a 3rd place ribbon (in a tie with Fishey's car). Musta been all of those 5-dollar bills I was handing out........

your absolutly right, nothin like 4 banger fun! <img src="http://www.speakeasy.net/~cutt/headbang.gif" alt=" - " /> had some trouble keep up with some cars on the driving tour, the 100 hp 912 engine can only do so much
