Josh, are both cars for parts or is the gray one getting fixed? I got lost in all the posts.

Don't forget about my list of parts.

Hey Colin,
Gray car is a salvage title. I suppose I could do a "chassis swap" of the vin from the black car as it amazingly has a clear title Kidding aside it is slated for parting as well.

Got your update list. I'll try to work on seeing what I have and getting back to you. You should just drive down here tomorrow - we'll be parting out that black car - already got a bunch done this evening.

Well - got both cars around 5 EST. Both had dead batteries but we got both running after unloading them and pushing them into the driverway. Black one was definetly worse in person than in the pictures. We checked out the systems on the black one and did a compression check 145, 145, 144, 145 - not bad Drove the black one into the garage but i couldn't get it into reverse - you'll see why in the pics below... We started pulling it apart - Thanks for the help Chris! Around 8:30 went downtown for some grub - planning to see about finishing disassembly tomorrow. Here are a bunch of pics.

Apparently this 16yr old kid had just gotten the car and was with his gf and pulled out in front of someone. We heard that she was ok but it is hard to see how - must not have had any hips yet. Thanks goodness for that bar in the door.... Amazing the shock waves throught the car - even over to the driver's door. It will be interesting to see if the torque tube is straight.

We'll be under it today and will check. I think the whole car is u shaped and that is why the gap on the driver's door is so big

Hey Dan - I'll post of more pics of the gray car - I think the dash is toast but the rear hatch carpet is in real nice shape for someone that needs a burgundy one.

Hey Josh, I would love to come down and help, just don't want to hall all the way back down there right now.

If you could send me a pm some time with how much you want for an unseperated hatch that would be great.

Josh, I will take the non-sunroof headliner and everything else related (bows, foam, etc.) from the black car. I know its torn, but I can add it to my template making pieces, and I would like to do some stuff with the bows even if they are bent.

Josh, I would love to come down but I just have too much going on today to get down there. Do you think you guys will be working on it next weekend also? I might be able to make it down then, just let me know. Another part I forgot to add to my list is that I need a factory wastegate dump pipe that feeds back into the main exhaust.
