What is UP with the 'search' function?

What is UP with the 'search' function?
It seems to be not working very well, searching subject only:
'fuel filter' brings up no results. I'm positive there are some fuel filter threads.
'supercharger' brings up 4, really old (2001) threads. I KNOW there are more than 4 supercharger threads.

If I understand this correctly....
Many of the post are archived. Did you try searching in the:
<924/944/951/968 Archives> Forum
instead of the:
<924/944/951/968> Forum?
I did the same search for "supercharger" and yielded 45 results. Hope this helps.

Yea, prior to posting about my clutch problem I tried searching and found nothing. I know I'm not the only one who's had a squeaking clutch!
