I was wondering how much you guys would expect to pay to have a valve cover gasket, head gasket, and have all the belts replaced done. My valve cover gasket went to hell and now I got oil leaking on my headers, my car smokes worst than the How High car.
Any insight would be greatly appreciated

I paid $1400 for a complete valve job, and $1100 for a complete belt job including all new rollers, belts, and waterpump. Your cost should be lower because I would think some of the labor overlaps. Also, not having the head rebuilt would knock off about $400.

Why not do both yourself!? A great way to get to know your car intimately!
I had help with doing my belts; had good rollers, probably replaced before.
If you do the head gasket and take the head to rebuild, that would save alot.
Both of these are labor intensive, but with the help of a knowledgeable friend, not too bad.
Took us a few hours to do the timing and balance belts.
The headgasket would take a day, and then if you wanted to have a valve job, you'd take it to be done.
But then, that's an assumption on my part that you want to save money.
It's time vs. money, so good luck either way!

Good advice Julie, belive me if I could do it mysef I would, but do to my current situation I can't. Not only that I don't think I really trust myself enough to do those kind of repairs.
