I am not sure about the blown down tube but a EGT Gauge is "Exhaust Gas Temp"

afx-i'm not completely sure what modely my flowmaster is, its the one designed for imports. i have the msds headers, a glasspack muffler where my cat used to be, and that. the whole setup is very loud, but i love it. idle sounds very deep, and all through the rpms sounds really nice, especially redline. i also pop flames from time to time.

I have a 2 1/2 inch straight exhaust with a flowmaster....its great for the track but I don't really like the way it sounds for the street. You can hear popping during downshift and if you are hard on the gas above 2.5k rpm every cop within a 1/2 mile block will be looking at you. As for the nitrous, I believe american motors should be used....that's why I spent 1200 dollars and bought a 1987 corvette drivetrain to put in a 1986 944 with alum heads, head work, and nitrous. Extra cooling will be provided by a turbo intercooler as auxiliary radiator. I love torque and I love 944/951s...but 4 cylinder doesn't provide too much of that off idle. If anything ever happens to your motor, you may want to consider swaping to chevy.

The blow down tube allows N2O to blow out of the vehicle in the event of too much pressure built up. It is also required for most sanctioned racing.
