Red face Wow, interesting find on rear suspension

Quick summary: my driver's side rear tire was rubbing under hard acceleration after I installed spacers (late offset on 86 951, used 1.5 inch spacers). I was looking into dialing in a bit more negative camber to see if it helped; so I read some alignment dyi pages, made some tools and went to checking existing camber. Both rear wheels were postive camber, nearly 2 degrees So I look deeper, and find:
pics of rear mess
Yes, that gaping hole is the camber adjustment, and yes, that thing below BOTH of them is the sway bar mount (the pictures show both the left and right side, so it was at least consistent!)
So here's my question: if you noticed both sway mount ends have a bolt in them currently. can I take this bolt out, realign the sway bar holes, and then reinsert the bolt, this time through the camber alignment hole also? I've never actually seen a properly attached camber bolt or sway bar, so I have no good reference. Or does the sway bar not actually mount to that bolt/hole?

Wait, now I think I've confused myself quite a bit. I looked at the picture of the area on the paragon writeup on ride height adjustment, and that hole is empty too. However, this picture Suspension adjustment labels the thing nearest the half shaft as camber, and the next one as toe. Did they reverse this? (or did it change somewhere along the 924->944->968 line?) Now that I dig deeper I see there's a special 'toe adjustment' tool and it looks like something you'd shove in that empty hole. So I guess my only question is now: is that one lone bolt next to the hole in my pictures the camber adjust? And which way to turn to adjust towards negative camber? (argh)

zakk,,,shore 'nuff, the hole I see is where the toe adjustment tool goes. The camber adjustment is the hex at the base of the stud which attaches the sway bar link to the trailing blade. I can't say which way to turn it right offhand,,but as you do you'll see the hub move. Just a side note, after I got my rear toe right, I found that the exposed part of the smaller hole in the adjustment was about the same on either side. The PO had apparently hit something with the right side and dragged it out of adjustment. You might have the rear toe checked as it could cause you some peculiar handling problems if it's not right.
