So I am having my car appraised..
So after 5 years of restoration work my 84 944 will be going to be appraised next week so I can Qualify for better insurance, where I will recieve the appraisal amount should the car ever be wrecked. Which should never happen of course! But it is better to be safe than sorry I guess.
So I was told by My agent that I should bring all of my Reciepts... Rims, 968 Mirrors, 968 Handles, Paint job, etc, etc, When I bring the car in, because all of this will be taken into account for the total appraisal amount.
By the way this all only came into play, because when I went to my agent recently in order to drop off a check, he had asked if my POrsche was outside, It was. He then came outside and looked at the car and suggested I do this.
I will also be getting the nice blue COLLECTOR plate!

I got an appraisal through PCA. They offer it free to all their members. It made me happy...they wrote my car between 17k and 22k ! I will probably be getting one every year or every other year just in case something does happen. I can pull that out and be like LOOK!!!! THIS IS WHAT MY CAR IS WORTH!!! Not some stupid blue book value. Also, photos will help. Have my whole car documented with pictures.
