Default FS: weld in 4 pt roll bar for 924/944 $400 OBO

The 4 point bar in my car is currently being removed to be replaced with a full cage. The bar was built by www.pipermotorsports.com last year. It is a weld in bar that connects to the frame of the car and not to the floor pan. The rear braces extend all the way back to the rear frame rails on either side of the spare tire well. It is constructed of 1.5" .120 wall DOM steel. The bar is painted black and could use some touch up paint work. The bar is currently being removed from the car an should be available at some point next week. Local pickup in the DC Metro area only. I will not ship, but would be willing to assist in delivery at your expense if you arent too far from me. I dont have any pics of the bar out of the car, but here are the pics inside the car. I can take pics once the bar is removed.

To install this bar will require welding and possibly trimming of the bar if you have a full interior. You will need to weld mounting plates to the car, and possibly modify interior components. I paid $1200 to have this bar fabbed and installed, you can have a custom bar for less than the cost of a bolt in autopower bar. If you have any questions please let me know.

$400 OBO

Just got back from the shop, unfortuantely my camera was not working, and I forgot my cell phone at home so I couldnt take any pictures. In order to remove the bar they had to cut one of the rear braces out of the car. To install you will need to reweld that bar and then weld mounting plates to the chassis and the bar to the plates. Piper can do all of the work for you at an additional cost. It would be a few hours of labor and a small amount of materials.

Lowering price to $300 OBO. Get a custom roll bar for less than an autopower.
