944 Air Conditioner
The AC didn't work on my 84 944 when I bought it a year ago. I replaced the condenser and drier and had the system charged up. However, when I turn it on the evaporator fan fires up, but no air comes out of the vents. I made sure all the levers were set properly and the potentiometer was set all the way to cold, but no cold air. The heat and defrost work fine. Any ideas out there?

I feel your pain, I have about the same problem but with a 86. if I figure it out, I'll tell you what I did. however, I don't know how much of a help it would be, yours is a 84 and mine is a 86, totaly differnet AC systems.
