[quote] My condolences about that Mississippi assignment My son did his pilot training there and couldn't wait to leave... but at least it's better than Del Rio!

Well at least it kept me home for awhile. I'm getting ready to go back to being on the road 200+ days/year. My wife told me to stay away from the C-17. She found out they now deploy...
Micah, cool avatar. The F-4 was the best converter of JP-4 to noise, and proved given enough thrust a brick can fly.

Although I'm not a regular on this board, couldn't help but add my occupation....
I'm a Licensed Nuclear Reactor Operator that sepcilizes in procedure writing as well as handling irradiated spent nuclear fuel for long term storage.
And I work on my car for fun (and save the profit of some geek who can't spell 928).

Micah you didn't tell me you got Moody! Lucky dog! Hey, I'm going to get some documents/info on the T-6 to start reading up/studying now from my uncle. Want me to get you some? It's always good to get ahead, ESPECIALLY in UPT.
Again, that's friggin cool. Sierra hotel man.
Send me your mail addy if you're interested.
By the way, started up with my new IP up here, can't remember if I told you... he's pretty cool. Should be done in a few months...going to fly twice a week (Monday/Friday).

Three Wheelin'
Matt,
I'm not guar. yet - the form 53s went in a week ago. Moody was my first - was told not to anticipate a problem...
To tell the truth, I wanted the goats at Randolph... but it wasn't slotted this time around. Are they in the process of going T-6 from tweets?
Thanks for the offer on the T-6 info... you KNOW you'll be the first guy I get a hold of when I get the 100% confirm on Moody
Good deal on the new IP thing... twice a week is a pretty good rate. How is your fam?
C5Driver951,
Always wanted to have my shot at being a Rhino driver... I missed the G's by about 9 years. The F-16 is not a weasel. When I was young, the Indiana ANG had D's, then E's (actually, were the last E operators in the country...)
What I really remember is watching them at low level. You could smell them in the air after they passed. I honestly don't believe there will ever be another plane like them.
"Every F-4 takes off with 2 emergencies - an in-flight fire and low fuel."

I'm a platoon sergeant for a 90 soldier helicoptor repair platoon at Fort Bragg, NC. We repair all seven versions of army rotary wing aircraft. I also teach English and English as a Second Language for the local county high schools.

Work at a Research Consulting firm here in Austin doing web design and PR work. Great job, I love it. Currently deciding where i want to go to school and what to do as a job during school. I might just stay with the firm I am with.

Are you working with C/D or E/F Hornets? Did you have any work with the new radar upgrades on the Aussie birds?

C/Ds right now. We'll be incorporating E/Fs into the curriculum in the next year or so. The west coast school at Lemore, Ca. is handling the E/Fs until then.
We don't work with any foreign services. That's probably handled by DynCorp.
I teach just the weapons loading and certification to the enlisted maintainers. Basically, how to load the bombs and missile and make sure that they hit the target.
Good luck in Moody. What are you hoping to fly?

Would you pull over a safely speeding Porsche.
