intersting........ I'm gonna try that.
I just wish I got get the car running first. From what I understand, the car should still idle and not stall when I give it throttle if the tps in unplugged. I must have some sort of HUGE vac. leak somewhere.

Luke, I have been told that an easy way to tell if you have a vacuum leak is with a mechanical boost gauge. A smooth, steady vacuum reading at idle indicates no vacuum leak, while a jumpy irratic vacuum reading indicates a leak in the system somewhere. Now, locating the vacuum leak...that is an art in itself, but at least having an indication that you have a vacuum leak (jumpy vacuum reading on mech. boostgauge at idle) could help you narrow your problems down a bit. Hope that helps.
