Question Fuel Filter replacement?

whenever i first start my car....even on a 70-80 degree day, for teh first minute or so, it sputters a little bit....and lags a little bit on acceleration....my first guess was the fuel filter. has anyone else had this problem? and how hard is it to replace/price?
thanks!

It's not hard to replace. You will have to jack the car up, it's in front of the fuel tank. They're around $20 for the filter. You should have seen the sludge that came out of mine. I don't think the PO ever changed it.

Gotta do mine, too. I'm told to throw some liquid wrench on there a day or two before, the "banjo bolt" is prone to breaking...Never done one, I dunno yet.

I did it on my car, didn't really have any problems.

Bolts were a bit tight...but we managed, didn't feel like anything was gonna break.
