"Caution: This car will trazel over 160 MPH; As the seller, We or any company affiliated with this sale is NOT at fault for any speeding tickets or violations due to the performance products on this PORSCHE"

Well, that cuts it...if they aren't going to back up the product...then I don't think I'll buy this rocket.

Someone send this guy a link to the flame fest we made for the other 160mph n/a. Maybe he will think twice next time he thinks he's trazelling at 160mph.

My 3.5 year old child spells better than the person that wrote that advertisement!

What's that? My 3.5 year old child can't spell at all? Exactly.

By the way, what the heck: "EXHAUST System is powered by a full stainless steel race system." What is a powered exhaust system?

TarHeel asked, "How does this guy expect Porsche guys to believe he has a 160mph n/a?" I'm sure this guy hopes to find someone who knows nothing about Porsches to buy the car. The target market appears to be some 17 year old with more money than sense and a taste for German-flavored rice.

LOL, I love these ebay claim/sham threads. Now this might just be me but...have a gander at the direct side view of the car. Doesn't the front look noticeably lower than the rear? Could he have switched the fromt springs without even bothering to adjust the eccentric in back!?!?!

Here is one thing that keeps me laughing over and over..."This car will trazel over 160 MPH" and "No harsh driving"..ummm no.

It's the A-Team 944! I noticed the same thing...

Remember the A-Team van was lower in the front then in the rear?

Maybe that's why he can traZel at 160mph.

Now, boys, don't y'all try to stop me... Ah's jus' gonna have to buy that there car, 'n sell off this piddly-assed 968
Ah's got... dang, 4 mph faster, with half a liter & eight valves less ... less inshurrance & taxes, too... 'n frozen rotors to boot... always be able to have a coldbeer ready when Ah needs 'un... jus' have to stop 'n unpack it from the wheel! But what's wit' thet "RUF" stuff? It come e-quipped wif it's own guard dawg??? Is it a blue tick or a Plott hound?

Kidding aside, this is the kind of jerk-off that makes e-commerce of all types suffer. Here, I know what BS the claims are, because I know about these cars, but when I want to buy outside my area of knowledge, I have to wonder if I'm encountering another lying jerk like this...

Jim, is that guy _really_ the apex of 3.5 billion years of evolution???

That explains it (can ya tell that I haven't bothered to look at the auction?), He has one of those snail shell lookin' thingys that the intake air makes spin, and the other side of it spins too, and that side pumps out the exhaust!!!

Quit concentrating on the guy and look passed the sales pitch! (After all you walk into any car dealership and they will tell you what you want to hear).

The car istelf is nice, for an 86, the interior looks nice, I like the steering wheel, paint looks good, exhaust looks sharp, dashboard is not cracked... For a price, the car looks good! If those are real H.I.D lights (they sure don't look like it on the picture) they are way cool - how many of us can say that they have H.I.D lights on a 944? Despite of the sales pitch, I like the car. It takes a lot of work to restore one! ( I am in a process of doing just that!)

Give the guy a break!

While the car may have some merit, I don't think it's a good idea to look past the seller. I get the impression the seller is into BSing, and that raises concerns about the condition of the car. (I would have used the term "BS artist," but I don't see much art to it.) Furthermore, considering how sloppy and careless the seller is with his spelling, it just makes me wonder if this carelessness applies to other things. Granted, some people just don't spell well, or maybe English isn't the primary language of the seller, but . . .

Anyway, while the car does appear to have some redeeming qualities, it's my opinion that the qualities of the seller should not be overlooked. The willingness to embellish and the sloppiness raise concerns.

I am a terrible speller (I am getting better). But when I am trying to do something IMPORTANT like sell a car, write my Resume, I use a spell checker and sometimes a proof reader.
