Default 931 nose panel removal

So I found a 924 turbo that I'd like to remove the nose panel from. What's the best way to do it? It appears to be welded on. Is there an easy way to get it off?

They header panel is just the same on the early 944. You have to drill through the tack welds to remove it.

The next step after the nose panel removal is sending it to me free of charge!

yes this is why 931s exist... so people can rice up their 944s. I think you'd be better off doing a motor swap. At least then you'd gain some performance.
