Post OT: Woohoo got my Turbo kit..

Well the day has finally come. There is a turbo charger sitting on my desk. It is time for the little Miata to become the firebreathing beast Miata. Now all I need is my big intercooler to get here. I know there are a few people interested in Miata's here on the board so check <a href="http://members.rennlist.com/speeddemon/90miata.htm" target="_blank">My Miata page</a> for pictures and stuff as the install progresses. I think I will go ahead and install it and only run about 6psi then once I get the intercooler I can bump it up to 8psi.

I am very excited!!! <img border="0" alt="[thumbsup]" title="" src="graemlins/bigok.gif" /> <img border="0" alt="[jumper]" title="" src="graemlins/jumper.gif" /> <img border="0" alt="[hiha]" title="" src="graemlins/roflmao.gif" /> <img border="0" alt="[cherrsagai]" title="" src="graemlins/drink.gif" />

I always smile when I see the Miata around me with a full rollcage and a license plate that says "auto x". Others may laugh at a "riced-out" Miata, but I know that car probably has the power to back it up.

Just curious, but how tall are you? I don't imagine I'd ever be able to fit in a Miata (6'3"), hell, I'm cramped in a Boxster!

5'8"?! Geez, some people are munchkin. I'm about 5'11" right now, and still growing. Geez, who knows how tall I'll be as an adult...

Have fun with it, that will be one fun car, there is a 350rwhp miata in charlotte that will run with 1000cc sport bikes.

I thought about a miata as a daily driver, but I would have had too much of an eurge to throw a snail in there....

Congrats....

I guess you could say that I'm a Miata wanabe!
There is something about a small nimble drop
top that is hard to put in words.

And yes I love Porsches!! But there is room in
my heart for for other autos <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="wink.gif" /> .

Good luck with the turbo install. <img border="0" alt="[burnout]" title="" src="graemlins/burnout.gif" />

Could you recomend a list, forum, or good
web sites for Miata's ?

LP 86'951, 75'914, 82' MBZ CD turbo and....

First kit I've seen that comes with a Cat. Greddy sure does think of everything.

Luke, if you don't mind me asking, how much was it for the kit...sounds like it would be a fun install. I like miatas but they can use more power..

I don't think I'd mind a Miata at all. My friend drives an old '78 MG Midget US spec, and I love that little car. I think of the miata as sort of a more modern midget.
