Post OMG CHECK THIS OUT!!!!!!!!!!!

Guess what I saw today A FORD MUSTANG GTR!!!!!!
This was the DUMBEST piece of crap I have ever seen. It was green with GTR stickers and emblems all over. It also had the traditional ALTEZZA lights and fart can of cource. Makes one think as to what the world is coming to.

Cultural cross-pollination. Everything that collapses, must converge.

I was in the auto parts store today returning a battery for the core charge and I saw one of those GTR emblems for 10 bucks. I cracked up thinking about how that would look on the 951.

Needless to say, I didn't buy it.

It is spreading like a mad virus.

Brand new, 330ci, alipine white, sport rims, and a god awful wing and rocker panel kit. Why oh why?

I have seen the car twice now.. I am going to carry my digi cam with me in hopes to snap a pic. It is plain silly.

I also saw the most hilarious car on my way home. It was a 90-93 Eclipse GS, Red, with an unpainted body kit that looked horrid. There must have been 2" fender flares, air holes, Ferrari side vents, and of course, the lights. Finniest part was the rims and tires. He was sporting 14" rims with 185 tires, or smaller, and no spacers. The track on it was so narrow compared to the car and body kit.

I laughed for a good 10 minutes at him in traffic, sitting right next to me. I almost rolled down my window and said something, but I realised I was pimping in my Buick Century, so I was not that far up the scale then him. At least I have the common sense to leave mine stock.

Rest assured our blood line is pure. Rarely do you see a riced out 944/951. Most on this board (including me) will give hell to the man who even carbon fibers his dash. This is something I take much pride in. Keep our family tree Stuttgartish and our hop ups strictly for function.

A friend of mine showed me a video some guys made at an auto show (I'll look for the link). To the point, they talked to the owner of a "GTR" Mustang (dumb ***). The guy was talking about how it had a turbo charged rotary, and all of this other **** that you can tell he was pulling out of his ***. Rather amusing.

Oh man, I saw one guy at a car show with a blue viper. He had a HUGE "TURBO" sticker on either side of the hood. I asked what kind of turbo he had. he said:

"A Big One" (Considering the fact that there are no single turbo'd vipers)

SO I asked him to open the hood, and sure enough, it was 100 percent stock. He was telling me he was in fifth gear at 20 mph and and he slammed it, and hit 150 in a couple of seconds. I just walked away in laughter.

What a F***ing MORON!!!

Talking

Speaking of RICE, I saw a rice'd out TALON the
other morning while going to work. It was purple
with ground effects, still white with pop rivets
showing, a double rear spoiler, still primer gray,
fart can, and big wheels. Whew, enough to make
you barf! I don't rember ever seeing any thing
so stupid back when I was a kid in the 70's
muscle car era. It wasn't put on the car if it
didn't make it "GO" back then.

Glad we keep em clean and sanitary.

The whole rice thing is pretty amazing...I have an SFR 3 inch cat-back on my 951 (the round muffler version) and THAT is thing the rice crowd all gathers around to check out...The again, I once had Ansen slotted wheels on a 71 Toyota Corolla...

I think I can beat your GT-R Mustang. Last spring there was a new Dodge Durango that was PLASTERED with about 15 GT-R and Type R stickers that were so big they'd never fit on any car designed to wear those emblems. At least the Mustang is a sports car...
