Did this a year ago, I will take pics of it today. It looks the same as far as quality of the paint goes.
I find that its extremely resistant to chipping. I did however drop a screwdriver on it from about 10 feet up working on the house, and made a little chip. The good thing is, you just take the rattle can of the same color and hit it and it blends right in after some wetsanding

Hey Tom,
It is pretty simple actually: Look up the color code (I think it is 354, but double check). Then, go to a automotive refinish supply store and tell them what you need. The specific brand of product may vary, but I had ended up with an SEM base and a generic clear. Metallics are harder to apply evenly (many amateur jobs have a mottled, or tiger-stripe look). Mask everything you don't want overspray on! Make sure you scuff the surface you want to paint with the correct grit (ask at the shop). P600 is likely. Pay attention to number of coats and flash times (just follow the instructions). And have good breathing protection!

I looked into maybe doing this will the 924 i drive. It looks like it would be a good idea. My car is not a show car by any means. I had it painted a few years ago but already looks bad. Let us know the results.

I think you should have disassembled the car more, aka door handles, mirrors, trim, rear lights, etc.
but its your car..... good luck!!!
