Default 88 924S on ebay cheap!!!

Hey everyone. I am putting it on ebay again. The car is worth more than I am gonna end up selling it for. PLease guys pop a bid in. I realy want to get a 928 I found but I have to sell this one first.

Here is the ad

1988 924S

27MPG!!!
115k miles
Great interior- Leather seats with cloth inserts excluding the driver-side which is a racing seat (Cerullo)
Good body- deep Metallic blue with Hella H4 headlights, flat dish forged 16x6 wheels
Many modifications- Koni fully-adjustable shocks on all corners, aftermarket springs, short shift, chip, cam, throttle cam, polyurethane in the front end, 951 sway bars (both front and rear), Jacobs Electronics plug-wires with Ngk iridium plugs, Fumoto oil change valve, Bigger injectors, New clutch kit with heavy duty disk (200 miles ago)
Maintenance- $6000 in documents, Starter, alt, Trans, clutch, engine sensors, brakes, ignition, tires, fully synthetic oil change every 3-4k miles, timing maintenance has also been done.
Nice stereo- Pioneer premiere amp and Pyle speakers. Pioneer Premiere head unit included but needs installed.
Lots of DOCUMENTS!!!

This car is very reliable. It was previously a track car in New Jersey. The owner kept it very well maintained and recorded a top speed of around 150mph, along with gear ratio speeds for every gear. The 0-60 was recorded at less than 6 seconds. It’s a great summer car that is tons of fun to drive. The car comes with manuals, spare headlights, and a rear center Porsche light. I’m even willing to through in a low gear ratio transmission for rebuilding. THIS IS NOT THE TRANSMISSION IN THE CAR (EXTRA).

The Problems:

minor scratches, dents & dings, small exhaust rattle, pilot bearing squeaks

Please don’t bid if you don't plan to pay! AS IS NO WARRANTY

This car is everything… look at the pictures and contact me with any questions. I will discuss reasonable offers.
This is a well-cared for thoroughbred looking for a new home. Go from the parking lot to the highway, to autocross or the track, with no modifications needed.
Thanks, Sam

PS: if you have any suggestions I am very interested.

I didn't believe it either untill I bought the car. I can get a 6.1. But I am a bad driver. What did they do stock?

Nice car Sam, good luck.

Put a better side shot of the car up, I can't make out that color and I really would like to see a dark blue 924S!

in the official brochure, manuals claimed an 8.3 0-60 time. Automatics claimed a 9.8......

8.0 stock.

the Sub 6.0 is wrong. Not even a stock 951 could do that. It took a 250 hp Turbo S to break 6.0 in 0-60
Take it out as it makes you look like a stupid punk in the ad. The car is nice so good luck.

The car looks like it's stone gray in the pictures but you say it's blue? $4k seems like a lot given the dents and pilot bearing issue. The silly top speed and 0-60 figures do not help either, makes the seller sound like he's totally full of it. The rotated picture, color mismatch, generally bad pictures taken on a dim, cloudy day do not make this an attractive ad. The big font is also pointless.

Nobody's going to believe it without proof.. Just grab a digital camera and record the 0-60. If you don't have anywhere to post it I have accounts on a few different hosting sites.

I didn't think the performance adds help either but my girlfriend made it and said it would attract some stupid punk wanting to go fast with daddys money. I said whatever.
The car will do a 0-60 in 6 sec. I have done it. I will grab a camera a do it sometime before I sell it. I have one on my cell but it has no timer.
Thanks for the imput.
I would really like to see one of you guys get it so that I know it will be taken care of.

And wouldn't the 0-60 of a turbo car be slower because of a need for boost build up? This na really screams. It took a 07 mustang GT 5-speed from about 55 to 120. Fun Fun, but on a track of course...

I'll second the unnecessary large font, but that's always been something that bothers me. never understood the need for huge fonts and all caps in an auction description. Get some nicer pictures on a good day, clean up the ad a little bit, and some proof of the 0-60 time and i think it will look a lot better. I can't really help out with purchasing the car, one is enough of a handful for me right now.

good luck with the sale and the 928
