A 69' 911 S would really hit the spot. If you dont get in now, i think they are going to be unattanable in a few short years. an old 356 super 90 would be nice too. im looking for something 40+yrs old. by looking i mean imagining.

The funny thing is that, for me, by the time you start getting to the rarer and more exotic cars (904, 550, Carrera RS, etc) I'd rather have a quality replica or clone versus the real thing. I'd be far more able to enjoy the faux car since I wouldn't be worried about the implications of damaging or destroying something so rare and expensive...

I agree, the dealership I work at had a Ride and Drive for the new Cayenne GTS and I love that SUV. I am a big fan of the turbo, but I like the GTS more. drive one and you would be amazed at what a 5000lbs SUV can do

My perfect Porsche garage:
1971 911T as a daily driver
1981 930, mostly stock
1986 944 turbo, with a handful of mods, for the track and fun weekends.

And then I'd have to get one for my wife also, so that could be an excuse for another Porsche. Maybe something fun and inexpensive like a 1981 924, and then a 914 for her (my) fun weekend car

Alright jeez a 959 is nigh impossible. But then my next choice would be 968 turbo RS (or S). I know that's pretty much impossible too so I was going to build my own. I have the 968, I have the 2.7 head, a 951 drivetrain and parts, etc. People have done it.

But by the same token, I could build a "959". Start with a 993 turbo and just redo the body. The 993 turbo is already twin turbo and has awd. No water cooling, but meh. Doesn't have to be perfect.

But it would be much more fun to build it off a late carerra chassis, build an actual 2.85L or whatever engine and fab up some turbo goodness and water cooling. Body kit. Luckily the interior is nearly identical. A pipe dream, to be sure, but hey, you asked what Porsche I want and there it is.

Really... I got to PDI our 6 speed GTS and honestly was NOT impressed with it... Clutch feel was horrible, you couldnt shift 1-2 hard at all or it would grind... Maybe i just got a bad one... I will agree they look Damn Amazing..

For a daily driver, I'd like a 997 targa 4

about the cayenne. I'm sure the performance is awsome for an suv (the cayenne S and turbo) but it's still a suv and when I think porsche i think sports car not a truck. I'm sure porsche can make an awsome pickup truck also but I wouldn't want one. Also I think the cayenne looks butt ugly, it looks like a big grossly overweight 911. Sorry about the cayenne bashing but it makes me want to puke everytime I see one.

I'm really more into the 80s / 90s porsches. The 80s 911 is probably the most iconic porsche.
