Parts Heaven Swap Meet, Nor Cal
Well its that great time of year again. Events are going on everywhere!
This is just a reminder for Nor Cal people, this Sunday 6/1 is the yearly Parts Heaven swap meet. Starts at 8:am and goes till 2
m. Good stuff, show and shine, and DISCOUNTS!
I plan to wash the garage dust off of the 951 and get there early. If anyone needs a ride or is interested in meeting up for a caravan, let me know. Or we could do lunch after <img border="0" alt="[cherrsagai]" title="" src="graemlins/drink.gif" />

What time are you going? We could hook up and caravan. Heck, we could even swap cars for the ride. Since my last modification/repair my car is running pretty strong. I have not been to a dyno yet but it has to be close to my goal of 350 rwhp. So suspension is next for me, I'd love to check out yours.

I posted something about this yesterday but it got buried underneath posts. Efren and I were also thinking about a caravan to the swapmeet but I don't think anything is currently planned. What time are you leaving Gilroy? Perhaps we could meet up in San Jose or Fremont or somewhere not too far off the freeway.

I plan to leave Gilroy @ 6:30. I am :20 min from San Jose. Name a spot off of 101 and I will hook up with you guys.
If you guys want to get up like an hour earlier, we could do breakfast at someplace like IHOP on first street.

Bill and Karl, each of you MUST enter your cars in the PCA concours like I did last year...it's fun and 944's were SORELY lacking last year. They were represented only by my 968, which took 2nd place for 1990+ Porsches. So both of you guys do that because you have especially nice cars...and so does Ben but I'm not sure if he still has the 951.
Not sure if I'll be able to make it on sunday...my 968 is in the body shop but I did just get my newly repaired 944 back.
But I've got other **** to do on sunday, hopefully it won't take all day. I'd love to hang out with the crew and do lunch afterwards so we'll see.

We may have a few crossed wires on the suspension. Mine is still the bone-stock 112K-mile original suspension. I haven't done anything with it... yet.
I did recently purchase a set of 968 M030 sway-bars and the updated caster blocks but they're not installed. Here's what I paid:

The word at the moment is that there will be at least 3 cars meeting up at the Chevron Station near McCarthy Ranch in Milpitas around 9:15-9:30 AM and we'll drive in together. I'm not sure if this is too late in the morning for you, but we should try to coordinate if at all possible. I believe Efren will be posting details on this thread when he has the chance. Should be a great time.

I'll be there too. I am meeting with Ben (Blk 951)and Jim (Red 968) in Milpitas around 9:30. If that's too late for you I'll meet you for Breakfast at 7:00 @ IHOP then I'll meet Ben and Jim after that.

I remembered you posting that you bought the suspension stuff, too bad its not installed yet. You just lost the chance to see what 18psi of boost is all about, lol! Oh well, when you do get it installed I'd like a ride to see how it feels over a rough road. We will all be there at 11:00.
