Dan how are you, i sent you an email but may be it did not get to you. I am on long island as well and looking to purchase a 944 for track day use. I also wanted to know how the jeep holds up trailering to far distances. Are you comfortable on the highway with the trailer behind you? When you get a chance shoot me an email at acarbonejr@yahoo.com.

thanks

I don't cross either strap and never have had an issue. I still perfer attching to the body much more since I don't have to worry about tweaking the aligment. When I crank mine down even with 30 mm t-bars and 350lbs in front springs the car move down a bit due to straps. Front tight first then tighten down the rears.

Jim - If i go (not sure i could get off from work yet) I am coming up Tuesday but not sure what time. I would be with my friend and we haven't made the plan yet. That would be cool to get to the track and hang. It would also give me a chance to unload the car and get it set up for the next day.
