Heres the deal, if my car is that rich in the higher rpm's, shouldnt there be a ton of black smoke out the muffler? I hardly get any black smoke.
Im a little confused, trying to figure the issue so i can start turning the boost up.

Yo Dan - Short of the obvious pulling the fuel out past 5250 and flattening the curve out what else? I think the a/f looks good for being right out of the box. They weren't mapped for this specific turbo and I bet there is a safety cushion dialed in up top as well. SMT6 should be able to take that out...

Remember that the dyno guy said that is a myth? My car had black smoke (decent fuel curve), yours had no smoke (very rich fuel curve). I'm sure lots will disagree with the above statement but it is wierd to see in person back to back.

you would think you would have alot of smoke but being unburnt fuel its not real dark. Thats really rich though, i would say turn up the boost, get a wastegate and an air fuel meter. What injectors/regulator do you have?

im not a tuner but talking with Russell, he was saying that his chips lean things out before 10psi to spool up quicker, then drop back to a richer setting once boost comes up. I would think that would make power come up faster and with that turbo you should be laying down more power at 18psi- more like 330 or something. But then again im no tuner. Look at it this way, i remember a thread back in the day about tuning on a 968 where they hit almost 300hp on a stock motor by just tuning.

One thing I would like to know is what Antonios chips are tuned for. He has a stock turbo, stock injectors and a stock wastegate. If the chips had been tuned for his setup he should not of been that rich.

Yeah that smoke thing is kinda weird, special tool said that i would be smoking like crazy at that a/f ratio, and that guy knows what he's talking about.
Im doing a pressure test this weekend, after that im ordering a tial and the some #55 injectors from Vitesse. I just want to be on the safe side and make sure things are like they are supposed to be.
Once thats all fine im turning the boost up to 15.

I dont disagree that he knows what he is talking about...but we all saw your a/f ratio and also didnt see any black smoke coming out of your exhaust.

Glad to hear it Ben...I bet it is! Strange about the diverter valve..have you tried throwing that spare one in or a stock valve?

I was going too, but I'm kinda stuck since the old stock one I have leaks and the forge style I have won't clear the hood.
