Default Eliptical Machine And $ for my 944

Yeah so I got no interest selling the car, but I DO need(want) an eliptical machine to fuel another addiction, so: maybe you have one you wanna get rid of, and want a 944? Just maybe.

You really need to make up your mind on what you will finally want to do with that car you know... haha

Lol, I actually have an elliptical machine (Trimline, good condition, cost 2K new). I'll trade it for your 944.

I'm in CT. send me an email and we can exchange pics: jschroeder@usa.net

My parents just just found one for sale on craigslist for $250. Obviously lower quality but still what we need.
The next thing on my list is a sunfish.

laser's are faster, have a rounded hull, have 3 different sail combinations, can support a bigger sailor, you can roll-tack them, get mast bend (for better roach), there are hardware upgrade kits available for them, and their class (racers across the nation) is significantly larger than the Sunfish class...

It's like comparing a Porsche 951 to a Honda Civic. They both can be driven well, but one is faster and much more fun!

Here's a picture of yours truly in my Laser just after winning a race...

No joke those things rival porsches in fun! On a windy day you can sail faster than most of the boats out. They can get pretty scary over 25 knot winds!

Ive been out on a small lake once in a pathetic version of one of those and I had hella fun orchestrating
the ropes/weight ect to go where I wanted and go there fast (sorta)

how much do one of those things run....I hope this doesn't hurt.

It all depends. A brand new race spec boat is $6,000. But if you want a cheap boat to just mess around with, you could find one for like $600. You just have to keep your eyes open, they are a lot like 944's. If you start wanting to become competitive (you will) you probably wont do very well in a crap boat, but most laser fleets are pretty welcoming.

Oh and trailiers and dollies(mini trailers) seriously jack the prices up. I ended up building one instead of paying the insane prices of Vanguard, who has a monopoly on all laser sailing.
