A little sprucing up might help. Clean the engine, wheels, and put it together. A Porsche that drives has got to be worth $2K. In the current condition, it looks like a parts car.

PS: How does an 85.5 have Fuchs? I thought those were only for the early '44s.

i'm pretty sure the wheel offset didn't change until 87? correct me if i'm wrong, i know that the 85.5+ had aluminum A-arms, but they were still the same length (thus the same offset) as the early cars...that's why the 86 turbo guys LOVE to run Fuchs (which i had an 86 turbo darnit all!!!)

Yeah it is early offset, I'm waiting on some parts from Schwank for the ebrake job and then she's a perfect runner...
Once that's finished I'll have her back together, clean some things up and craigslist her. Without the cleaning and putting back together is where you guys get the price break, take advantage gentlemen, before it's too late!

offset changed in 87. 85.5 and 86 are hybrid years.

Car is now mostly put back together. She started up first try, idles perfectly. Brakes are now assembled and all that is left to do is reconnect the e-brake line. Thinking about getting the ball rolling on sanding and priming as the car isn't really nonfunctional anymore. I drove it around the block and it's a really fun ride.

Guys, honestly, I just want to get this stupid thing out of my driveway. $1,500 obo I'm sick of dealing with craigslisters. I would say it's driveable within a few hours but more than that is pushing it.

Wow, I can't believe nobody's bought that car yet. If you do decide to part it out, please let me know. There's a ton of used parts that I'm looking for. Thanks.
