Default How to get an 89 944 Turbo S for $2300

Bought a 92 Miata for 800.00...repaired crank nose for 200.00, drove it for 8months, sold it for 2500.00

Bought a 99 Miata for 3000.00 sold it for 5000.00

$3700.00 profit from the two sales.

Bought a complete 89 944 Turbo S for 2700.00 with burnt valve, the car already had a bunch of upgrades, head work, adj fp, dual port waist gate...etc, ...spent 2200.00 with Lindsey Racing for parts/upgrades and traded out the labor with a friend for an 86 944t that I had a $1000.00 in. It should be driveable within the month and I should have about about $6000.00 - $3700.00 = 2300.00 in it with about 280+rwp.

It's not the prettiest Turbo I have seen but it will make a greate track car that I could afford to loose if it happened.

Miata do have thier uses!!!

Having owned an '83 944 track car and a '92 stock Miata for a few years now, I 'll have to side w/ Tom and BeerBurner. Some of you guys need to get out of your (Pcar) ghetto every now and then.

Hey Admc58,

Dang - sounds like you got a heck of a deal!! You have any pics of the car that you can post up? Also what part of the county are you in? We are real active here in Atlanta - would be great to have you along for a drive///

So far we are up to about 12 or more that do not fit the stereotype, and not one that does.

Me thinks the archie bunkers of this thread should crawl back under the rock they came from. After apologizing that is.

Either apologize, or admit that the person they know that fits the stereotype is a person that they know - intimately.

Archie Bunker? Wow most of those guys you're refering to have no idea what you are talking about probably as they were probably not born when that show was on.

Let's not forget that most 911 folks think the same thing about Boxster owners. Plenty of internal bigotry to go around!

Sounds like a plan. I've already been to one in Atlanta in my girlfriend's BMW. I didn't do so badly in DS for it not being my car. I was way ahead of last!

Although realistically I will probably be out to sea during most of June ):

cotton-candy face polisher?

I drove a modded miata once. It's definitely cool being really down low; but a 944 down low is cooler. At autox, I ride with my friend/competitor rob lupella, and I cry on the inside a bit every time he steps on the gas. It gets louder, but we don't start going any faster.

Lol, this is my kind of technical thread do I get in or do I stay out?

1st, let me start by saying that if you bought your 924/944 because you thought it was a Porsche, well it is not, a 944 is more like an audi/vw despised by the 911 & 928 gays, it's also not considered a Porsche by the newer Gayxster, Gayman & Gayenne gays. Now if you buy the 944 because the way it drives & looks and you $hit on what others think about it, thumbs up for you.

2nd, Miata is one ugly motha of a car and the way the name it's pronounced it sounds like the word for "taking a **** in Spanish" which is "MIADA".

I don't know if it's a stupid rumor or not but when the mini-cooper came back it was portrayed as a gay car, also I heard kids mention that usually, if you see 2 young guys in a miata most likely they are gay and if you are gay who cares, come out of the closet and buy a miada.

Well, its about as technical as being hit by a 7.62x39 round. I wonder, if people on this board bash any group of people for example Mexicans the same way they bash gays, how would any Mexicans on the board feel? Also, lets be fair and bash the 944 a bit.

You forgot Gaysche, maker of the penile deficient compensators, makes gay44s and gay11s so anyone driving anything made by that manufacture must be gay. I also heard from people on this thread that gay44s attract more guys than women as positively indicated by predominate male presence in the 944/951 forums so usually, if you see 2 guys young or old in a gay44 most likely they are gay and if you are gay, who cares, come out of the closet and buy a gay44.

7.62x31 is a gayround, I prefer the nato 7.62x51, are you gay by any chance? which is okay, don't feel bad that would explain the amount of man that gather at your place. J/K
