it's a bit of a longshot, but what kind of condition is the rear cargo cover in?

does it roll up? I might be interested in that and possibly some other parts too

HAHAHAH.... I forgot about what the midwest and east coast can do to a car. Soooo spoiled with my car... barely any corrosion on the car. Let me poke around and I'll try to find the article. The fifth gear is under the end cap pointing at you in the picture you posted.

Thanks for the effort guys!!!

So can I get it out without removing the tranny?

I doubt it.

Based on my experiences... I would drop the entire rear end like you are going to do torsion bars. Then you have unobstructed access to drop the trans.

There has to be some racer who will pick the engine up whole as a rebuildable spare.

That's pretty much how I parted my 83. Hood off, Engine and front end out, rear end and trans out, doors off, windshield out, pick out random interior, and furniture dollies to roll back onto a trailer to the scrap yard.

WHY?

Well without that screw my car is no good! I guess I have to sell mine now. Are you happy now Bobbit135? You have given me a complex?

Brian,
How is it? What does it need to pass inspection or run?

It runs and drives fine. I think it would pass inspection as is.

It would have made a good spec car as it does not have a sunroof.

Nice!!!! How are the front fenders? They tend to rust on the inside where dirt gathers.
