Ok so I thought refinishing my phone dials black with a chrome lip would look cool, now Im starting to think that I should go all black. What do you guys think?

I think the problem is the fact that they are late phonies. There is a third dimension there where the wheel face is coming out. I think it would look "ok" on early phonies, maybe. Make sense?

What color is the car? I looked at the nicest na I've ever seen that was red w/ black powder coated wheels. and it looked awesome. Hard to say with a cab, though.

Going to do a bit of thread hijacking here.

I'm going to keep my 15" phonies as my street wheels, because I'm too cheap to get anything else and because the street tires are also cheap. I was going to re-paint, but I don't want to go boring. I'm going for more of a dedicated race look since it isn't my DD and although it gets a lot of street time, it's still my competition car. I just got a borla exhaust and I'm contemplating a vinyl racing stripe. The car is white with blue interior. What color should I re-paint the phones?

I voted for all-black because of the fact that they are late offset, and keeping the lip polished would be extra work. Also, if you paint them all black and then decide you don't like it, you could very carefully polish the lips afterwards, although if it was me doing it it would look like crap.
