Default 944 Door removal

does anyone have reference thread or tech article on how to remove the door off a 944...without cutting wires?

disconnect the wires from behind the door panel first?

the switches disconnect...then I guess pull the wires through?

speaker and window motor too, then pull door away as you take it off

You shouldn't need to cut anything, but it will take forever to remove. I had to cut the wire to the window motor because I couldn't figure the clip attaching it. The mirrors are really the hardest part.

Yeah the mirrors. You need to go get a proper tool for slipping the wires out from the mirror wiring plug. I think you can find it at radioshack or an electrical specialty store. If you have electric locks don't forget those too.
