Default Running no p/s crank pulley

Is there any issue with simply running no power steering crank pulley? I have the belt off (system leaks like a sieve) and either it won't go on straight or it is bent.

Post a picture? Driving a power rack without any power steering pump input is going to be horrendous.

I'm not sure if this is the case but do non PS equipped cars have a different crank bolt/washer?

Well as long as I plug the system with some fluid in there, it oughta be fine, less mass for the crank to turn, right?

I looked on the PET and there does not appear to be an illustration with the crank setup without the p/s pulley. Seems like there is only one part number for the bolt. Guess there are more threads in the crank then. Would seem strange to have two parts for that anyways, no?

Should be, just not optimal. Is there something wrong with your p/s system. Horrendous leaking?

Yeah leaks like hell, only reason I want to take the pulley off is it's a little wobbly and I'm concerned something's gonna grenade at high rpms.

+1

Just make sure you get the cupped washer on the right way or no oil pressure. (Don't ask!)
