it doesn't stop sagging, just keeps the visor where it should be.

i have the early 944 interior anyway right?
^^ and i need one of those clips also, where did you get that one?

those clips I believe are VW parts...aside from the sag, are those clips a real problem? Mine stay in the factory clips just fine....they just flop down in my face while driving...

the factory clips break all the time. I think I remember the thread where rick gave part #'s and such on that clip.

VW part number is 3B0 857 561 B B41....$7.99 each.

Never to get brittle and break again.

I agree, I don't think new clips will fix the floppiness. I put in new OEM plastic clips from Automotion and the flop was still present. That's why I went searching for the teflon tape fix. That led to the removal of my visors, which led to me noticing the tightening screws.

When I put my 89 on the road a few years ago once winter was over, one of those plastic clips snapped. Beleive it or not I pulled the sunvisor clips out of my 89 BMW E30, same exact part. The Germans in the 80's sure loved to share simple parts...
