Default Update: 1995 968 Cab For Sale

As many of you probably already saw, I had put my 1995 968 cab up for sale here in the classifieds, as well as craigslist a couple months back. I received tons of e-mails and phone calls about the car, but there was an issue that made people shy away. I did not know the history of the timing belts, and would not start the car. Not surprised, many of the people who inquired were turned away once I told them they couldn't start it. unfortunately, this made it very difficult to sell the car, but I just didn't want to take a risk not knowing the history.

This being said, I have since gotten my hands on some more records for the car, in which I was happy to find records for the belts. Last changed in 2003, approx 10,000 miles ago. I now feel much better about starting the thing.

I would now like to re-list the car to see if anyone who I told they couldn't start it to are still interested, and possibly attract some new interest.

No LSD, no M030 according to the sticker...should be bone stock, doubt anyone swapped out for these parts. Cheap because the car needs some TLC, as the pictures may suggest.

Thanks
Mike

Mike, a good advice to you : clean that engine compartment, it looks so bad it is painful....
That would help your sale, honestly. Look at my old 85 :
