Default n/a vs turbo cam tower

Are the turbo and N.A cam towers the same? I realize the cams themselves are different, but if I put an N/A cam in a Turbo tower, will it work? all the lifters are the same?

thanks,
Mark

The housings are the same, I'm unsure on the lifters though, but I suspect they're the same as well.

Same cam, same lifters, same tower, different head, at least on our two 86's

Early NAs and turbos use the same cams. Late NAs have a different cam but the housings are all the same.

Speaking of....If anyone wants a powder coated cam tower, I have one for sale
