Question Oil cap from the dealer now says "OIL"...

... and not "OEL" like the original one did. In kinda liked it in German, myself.

Oh well. I guess Porsche's global marketing trends have finally reached the spare parts department. So much for originality.

Oil in German is actualy spelt Öl

Also those MB's with a 'Kompressor' badge relating to the supercharger which is 'Gebläse' in German. Kompressor sounds better to the rest of the world I suppose.

+1 It's all global marketing.

True, but both vowels can also be spelled out in lieu of the umlaut.

You ordered the wrong part number. You got the 710. You want the 730.

My dad had an early BMW 2002. On the shifter was the word fahrt. You can imagine the fun we had as kids with that one.

I know! WTF is that! I like my car as original as possible. I still have the original oil from the dealer back when I bought the car in 91.
