Post For Sale: 01 996 rare Black/Black Tip 27,500 miles

Low mileage 01 rare black/black combo 996 tiptronic coupe for sale.

Kelley Blue Book has a private party valued at $37,000.

I know the price may be a stretch in the real world with tiptronic, but hoping that there will be someone out there. Always garaged and interior is like new.

Currently shopping for a 997 S or 997 C4S. If anyone is interested, send me a private message.

Cheers !

As a general assumption for the na guys that may be true, but the 951 guys spend alot and aren't as cheap. Hell, since selling my 944 Ive been saving money. Car payments are easy, Its the whole I want my 20yo porsche to be like new thats expensive.

I know what you mean, between my 951 mods, and maintainence on my 968 it adds up quickly. Was just a 944 generalization that I have found to be mostly true.

I prefer the politically correct term "value conscious".

That is exactly why i decided to get an elise.... in a few years.

probably cheaper to make an 8 year old lotus like new than a 20 year old porsche like new - for the track that is.

I just read all 9 pages of that thread. Good stuff. I might have to get a 996 now, so I can hang out with the financial geniuses.

By the way, I'm also hung like a horse.
