............... You should have bought my S2 jackie, it has all this nonsense done already, and the rollbar too.
is this Tom Radow????
dude, i called you how many times for that car??????? oh my word....you never called me back!!!!!! you probably didnt think some crazy chik was serious about buying a track car....
We spoke about the 951 the day after i shook hands on the car Jon now owns. I sent you one or two emails about the S2 and you never called me on it so i shipped it to colorado for $1300.
As for the crazy chick part, jill autocrossed the 944 when she was preggers!

Z said that if I install your 30mm bar I would need a Weltmeister rear as my 19mm is a good match with my stock 28.6 bar but not the 30mm. Soooooo, If I am buying your 30mm bar then I would also need your Weltmeister 22mm rear. If I stay with my 26.8 then my 19mm on viagra (stiff) is good.
I just took both struts off. I also took the calipers and rotors off. (I don't remember us doing that on your S2 when we did it. Did we?)
I am also thinking (no that I got my struts off and the strut mounts don't look too great) of putting in adjustable camber plates (racer's edge). Any opinioins on those?

Your call buddy.
i know zoltan want me to put the 30mm in the front and weltmeister in the rear, but then i have to sell the weltmeister front.

do you want me to mail you the 30? If you dont want the 30 but want my two weltmeisters, i will swap you my two weltmeisters for your fat rear and some $$$.

update
What I did:
Struts and shocks installed. Rear set half-way between full soft and the mid-point.
What's not done:
I forgot to change the rear sway so the 19mm bar is still in the middle setting. Front struts not height adjusted yet and front seems to be sitting high. No alignment yet.
What happens:
The car feels tight although it seems to oversteer more than previously.
Question:
Should I assume this is the way the car will react or will this change when all the "What's not done things" are done?

Think of your car as a four legged table. If one leg is longer than the others, it wobbles. But because you have springs, you will not see the difference unless you put each wheel on an independent scale (which is what corner balancing does). Using suspension height adjustments (assuming you have that option) you can move individual wheels up or down so that, at rest, all "legs of the table" are pushing down equally. It's not exactly "equally" because a car has a natural imbalance front-to-back and left-to-right. You are just trying to match whatever the natural balance is.
A perfectly balanced car should be the most balanced on a balanced left-to-right track. But for real racers, you can set up cars to match specific track profiles.

A shop that does corner balancing must be fairly performance oriented. I see no reason why you wouldn't let them do more work. That's why they give stuff away! Corner balancing is not easy, especially if you don't have coilovers on each corner.

Biggest delta: you haven't done an alignment yet. A bad alignment can turn even the most expensive suspension into what handles like a Yugo with two flat tires.
Second biggest delta: when you get your car corner balanced and lowered. Dropping the center of gravity makes a significant change in the handling characteristics of your car.
The swaybar change is a noticable, but minimal change.
