Cheaper form for bumper plugs?
I refuse to pay 25$ + shipping for two small round pieces of plastic from www.bumperplugs.com. Is there another company or a DIY way to get bumper plugs?

No I need some thing to cover up the two license plate mounting holes... they annoy me but there is no way in hell I am going to pay 25$ for two tiny pieces of plastic.

How about $25 for two properly painted pieces of plastic designed for your need? Come on, $25 is cheap for a semi-custom product with limited distribution. Don't cheap out!

That is the plan!
My idea is to use the small plastic disk used to protect furniture scratching.. They come with adhesive tape, or I am sure I can figure some thing out to mount it, Then some paint and boom.

I went ahead and did this myself, just buy some trim retainer buttons with the right size cap and paint 'em up. Paint them on your bench, shove them in the holes with a little hotmelt glue, done. I put my plate back on after a chat with an officer but it looked great until I did. Total cost was less than 10 bucks including the paint.

considering I am just using tools and parts that I have lying around, I am more than happy to spend some free time to put these together. Understand 25$ is a lot of money for me! I have a lot of free time!
