As do I- thats why I mentioned that I often do things that I could just pay someone to do.

Like I said earlier, fill those bad boys and paint over them!

After you feed the 5 kids, what actually ends up in the pocket is minuscule, so I know where the OP is coming from.

And why is this in OT - it's a tech question.

Moved to the 944 forum.

Best of luck.

Ahhh, but bumper plugs are applicable to all models, not just 944s.
Sounds like a good candidate for "General DIYs".

I concur. Eric (BumperPlugs.com) only sells top-quality products. His prices may lean to the high side, but I've never been disappointed with anything I've ordered from him.
And when it comes to my ($$) car, I know I wouldn't be happy with something adapted from Home Depot.
Your actual mileage may vary.

If 25 bucks is too much to spend to improve the appearance of your PORSCHE, then dont drive a PORSCHE, I'm almost positive that what ever you do for cheaper will not look nearly as good as the bumper plugs.

You may be better off buying Honda and hanging out in isle 6 (rice) at kragen.
They have all the beauty products you need for under $7.99

should have just said the excuse: college student!
they all would finally understand. plus if you're happy with the outcome, then you're happier with your car because it is something else you did yourself.
napa, aautozone and possibly advance auto keep all the different types of plugs in stock, and i would check wal-mart or meijer for some testor paint if your car is still the original color.

LOL. But there are two criteria that describe 944 owners. Being cheap and being a teenager. I don't know how old turbo X is...
