The kids are mine, but they still need to be reminded that there is no reason whatsoever that they should ever touch the outside of the car.

That's around the corner from my office. I'd like to go, but I hate to miss church. We'll see.

It happens on the first Saturday of every month, so if you don't make this one you'll have plenty of other chances.

Oh, so it's this Saturday 2/29? Remember 2008 is a leap year!

I'll try to be there.

We are working on a mountain drive as well - might conflict with your Sunday commitments though. Great looking car and welcome to the Atlanta 944 community

I'll be the first to say I dislike those wheels. On the other hand, clean car.

I can appreciate a clean car, and it's crazy so many else here on this thread have as well. Most of the times when you post clean picture of your car, you get some that tell you it's to drive, not polish.

Some things I can see that I would do, but overall, looks good!

What would you do? I'd love to touch up the paint on the hood, and I have scuffed the front on a curb. What else do you see?

Very nice, the only thing I would have done different on the engine is had the Porsche letters show as silver with all of it painted black. Great job.

As far as what I would do, just by looking at the pictures, I can't comment on much. I would do what blue devil said, except use red letters. Jager Cam tower letters (here- http://jageng.com/garage9/product_in...2baf0ad79f2c6f ) look awesome on these cars. Other parts of the motor, I would clean up. Armor-all and a rag will do wonders on all of the wiring, as well as rubber.

Another huge thing for me is the tint. Looks too dark for a red car. I have tint on my car 28% rear, 35% front and it looks good. Not too dark, but not the totally see through that stock non-tinted glass is.

I would have to see the car in person to further comment on what I would do. Washing the inner fenders normally helps a car a lot (yes, you can see in there), as well as taking the diffuser off and waxing it looks good. As most diffusers I have seen, have this nasty road grime build up on the bottom side. While it's off, spray the back of the car flat black, up underneathe. These will do a lot for the car, and are very easy.

Of course, these are my opinions on if the car was mine. You may be completely happy with the way it is now, and that's all that matters. As long as you're happy with it, no one else's opinion should matter (unless it's a good opinion ).

I'm interested because I'd love to "do more" to make it better. When I drive it I get in trouble because I put miles on it and I rack up the points against my license (103 in 65! !). Cleaning it in my driveway is a socially acceptable way to enjoy it.

The way to get addicted? Begin to hate dirt and dust.

Then, crawl all over your car from top to bottom cleaning things that the average joe wouldn't. The sum of all of these little things equate to a large payout.

I'm so ****, I took my rubber hatch seal off and waxed unerneathe it!

Seriously though, don't take my words and think I hate your car and it's filthy. It's a good looking car, and there are some things that I, personally, would change. Such as getting the cam tower letters and the tint (but it may be dark due to the picture).

Have you thought about adding the side moulding along the door and fenders? I love it. Makes the car look like it has less, flat/ squared off surfaces.

Also, just noticed this. Looks like your rear driver side bumper cap might be pushed in. I believe this happens overtime if the car is in hot, sunny places. Then again, the bumper could have been lightly hit before, which would cave in the bumper caps.
