Default Car Cover Suggestions?

I am in need of an all weather car cover.
Any suggestions on water/UV resistant choices and where to get them?

Thanks in advance.

I have a Coverking Stormproof. I put it on in November - still holding strong. Seems to repel the water easily.

Thumbs down Boo Porsche covers!

Well ... I'm on my second Tequipment car cover in less than two years. Pretty dissapointing if you ask me, Id definately reccommend something else. The car is not even in full sun and both of the covers have started showing signs of dry rot within 3 months. Granted its Florida, but give me a break!

I have a Noah 4-ply fabric that has been on the car outside for less than a year and loath it. It has rotted in several places and leaves white dust all over my black car. I'm looking at the CoverKing StormProof mostly for it's UV resistance. CoverKing makes the best fitting ones I've ever had. The Noah cover was from CarCovers.com and I will never buy anything of theirs again.

I get the feeling from that ad that it's not waterproof, can you confirm?

How well is it holding up? It almost seems too cheap.

Thanks

I ordered Coverking's Silverguard Plus from Performance Products. Although, I have yet to use it for any extended period of time. The fit is good, but I've never had anything but the cheapest covers before.

No, it's not supposed to be. The Dupont material allows clean water to filter through and air to circulate and prevent moisture from building up inside. This is my second identical cover. I bought the first one in 1999 and used it with good results outdoors, only they get very waterlogged and take a long time to dry out. It held up very well until it was stolen a couple of years ago in spite of the locking cable on it. I got the second one back in 2003 but this car is always parked indoors, so I only have to wash the cover a couple of times per year and it stays in great shape.

When I saw this auction I thought it was too cheap also, but the photos of the material are identical inside and out to the cover I paid US$200+ for, so you might want to ask the vendor some questions.
